It's early. I'm looking at it friday. Think it's probably the same period as the truck. Like 58-63

Bandi would know for sure - but from my google searches on the body style i'd agree with you. I used to not like Air cooled Beetles but, Now i think they're lovely.

there never was a turbo Fiero.
the Celica is an (yawn) automatic
with the Mazda, just because its rare don't mean its worth more... just means its going to be a fucker to find parts for.
and with the magnum, rare is still ugly.

i do, however, like the Capri.

^Right on the Fiero, and that one doesn't have a turbo of any kind. For that mileage, though, that's a pretty accurate pricetag on an 88 V6 T-top.

I don't see anything resembling a turbo or charge piping on the underhood shot, either.

And actually, that 323GTX is pretty cheap for what it is. One just sold near here for $7k. Stupid fast little cars. I used to have one.

there were only two cars Pontiac turbocharged in the late 1980's/early 1990's... the Sunbird GT and the Grand Prix GT (and those were stupid rare).

As for the Mazda, interesting... never heard of that 323 variant.

I bought mine from a scrapyard for $300 with a bad alternator when I was 15... didn't know what it was, just thought it looked cool and sportier than a regular 323 (I have a thing for hopped up small cars).

Swapped over the alternator with one from a 323 parked next to it for $15, drove it home and was pleasantly surprised when the thing started digging serious amount of gravel with all four tires when coming out of corners in 4th gear. Had electronic dampened suspension, too- normal, cruise and sport modes. And one of the best factory steering wheels I've ever had my hands on.
