Riviera pop top! Very cool but he's delusional on the price if the engine is seized.

depends what the interior looks like. But I still wouldn't want to pay more than 1300 or so.

That sandrail looks fun.

And that price seems expensive for a smashed up Stealth.

the biggest problems with the Stealth/3000GT is that they're fragile orphans... fragile and expensive to repair. Add to the fact that most of these cars have had this shit pounded out of them by now makes that car suspect. Did you guys see the rims on that car? Where are the factory wheels? Why the cheap quasi-chrome ARE wheels? Why no pictures of the interior? I have a feeling that this car is a big fat dog with fleas.

I've always liked them... Just not enough to own one yet. But if I did it would have to be a vr4.

don't get me wrong, i always like the cars, but they really are hard to repair. The biggest failings are the automatic transmissions and center diffs.

HA!

I've always thought the reason why the automatic transmission for the 3000GT was so goofy was to me, it looked like Mitsubishi took their AWD transmission and made it unbalanced by removing the RWD portion to make it FWD. Granted their transmissions at the time were awful and basically from forklifts, but the manual transmission for them was better.

Yeah all there transmissions suck, a lot of my friends have evos and they all suffer with grinds etc. My best friends 2012 started grinding 2nd at like 2000 miles already.

I would demand nothing short of a new transmission. That's bullshit, no matter what you're driving.

The current state of American cars saddens me to no end.

Edit: fixed youtube link

I believe they blamed it on driving/cold fluid.

I'm pretty sure mitsubishis are from Japan? I know the older (90s) ones were built here

I thought the same, too... they certainly were when I worked for them.

Apparently domestic cars are SO bad they make Japanese transmissions fail.

The missing picture was a broken youtube link. Fixed.

And yeah idk what I was thinking earlier. They're totally japanese. I quit smoking weed (been high pretty much 24/7 for 2 years) yesterday and have been all sorts of stupid today because of it.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

The point remains. Since at least 1990, American cars pretty much have been rubbish.

They were made in the US at Diamond Star Motors, however, I'm told by a friend in Japan they had issues also in the Japanese made models due to Mitsubushi's issues with making a car at the time.
