Guess since I am having a much needed UrbEx weekend, and decided to check the forums, I should share a photo of the day. My close personal friends off here who are on FB with me know what I have been up to lol.

Nothing would ever change; nothing new could ever be expected. It had to end, and it did. Now in the dark world where I dwell, ugly things, and surprising things, and sometimes little wondrous things, spill out in me constantly, and I can count on nothing |

What we get from this adventure is just sheer joy, and joy is, after all the end of life. We do not live to eat and make money, we eat and make money to be able to live. That is what life means and what life is for. - George Mallory. |

Your weekend was blurry?
Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =) |

Looks like a theater to me! My weekends tend to look uncannily similar.... What light control is that on the computer? Though this past weekend looked more like this....

Nice one STC. Part of the old Tamales railway. There's a wonderfully sketchy train tunnel and old prohibition era mobster compound up the river as well. They would run booze down the river, out Tamales bay and on to San Francisco's speakeasy's and illegal bars. Just an odd and interesting area left in time.

NPC and NSR Old #12, "Sonoma" ran across that estuary. It's restored and on static display in Sacramento now.

i am the other yourself. "Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name. Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors. The voice might be one and the same. I've heard it too many times to ignore it. It's something that I'm supposed to be." http://www.flickr....orers/collections/ |

Interesting.... I was just there yesterday. I'll dig through my pics and see if anything turned out worth posting. No tripods they say...
