They asked me if I wanted to go to Toronto in October. I was soooo tempted, but I would have had to write another talk and travel again and blahblahblah.. I don't think I can handle it so I said no. I reallllly want to go to Toronto, though, so I kinda regret it now.

If you want my advice on posting pictures, use flickr. They make it super easy. Upload your picture to flickr, go to the page, click on 'Share', click on 'Grab the HTML/BBCode', select 'BBCode', and copy/paste the code here. It gives you a little thumbnail and everything - it's what I use to post all my pictures.
Plus, on flickr I can obsessively sort and group my pictures.

Let's plan a meet. I get to town on Saturday the 27th and leave Tuesday the 30th
Sat-Curious and I land in Winnipeg in the evening - 6:30-ish? Probably the best day to get together since the rest of the weekend is kind of crazy
Sun-family day
Mon-wedding I have to attend in the evening around 5-ish?
Tue-free in the morning/lunch-ish -will probably be doing breakfast/lunch with old friends I haven't seen in 6 months

If you want my critique....
- Turn up the contrast a bit in The Gimp/Photoshop/whatever
- Back up just a little more so the crane isn't cut off
But other than that, it's an excellent picture!
From a quick go with a contrast tool, this is what I got:
Not great, because I was working with a low resolution image, but I think it looks a little nicer.

I'm thinking Saturday it should be My dad is picking us up from the airport/taking us home/we'll get settled then go out - my mom is off work at 11 pm so if I'm home at around midnight I'm good. This gives us a few hours to do fun stuff. Sound good to everybody?
