1986 Honda CRX HF. $500, has brand new tires on it. Factory radio and even the factory trim rings and hubcaps. Runs great, even after it sat for a year. So fellas, what the hell did I just buy? School me. Picking it up tomorrow or Tuesday. Pics will follow.

A super fuel efficient, (That's what the HF was designed to be) neat little car... fiberglass fenders too, probably. Cool. Very cool. I approve.

You bought the Blista Compact from Grand Theft Auto!
On a serious note, if you ever want to sell it, let me know.

Oh my fucking God please tell me I have a Honda guy here, because I will end up killing someone on those fucking Honda forums. I have not even registered to one yet, and I already want to murder. You guys know me, I don't have enough compassion to deal with those guys. They know their shit but you have to wade through 20 pages of bitching, code arguments, and general childlike behaviour to find any simple info. I am at a loss.

Oh god, the Isuzu Rodeo forum was that like that and lots of werid mis-information like "Oh, all Isuzus need 14V of DC power at all times!" and someone went far as to actually modify a external regulator to put 14V....

I've spent some time on a CRX HF. They're about as complex as a Briggs & Stratton. Also, the winner of the '09 North American Rally Championship, Andrew Comrie-Picard owns one as his daily driver.

actually, a friend of mine had an 87 CRX and it was a fun to drive little car, but it was a commuter car at heart with a very small engine in it. ...and it had no backseat.
|
|
well, being that it's an 86 model, theyre a little funky under the hood.. they actually got simpler as they got newer i want to say that the HF used a carb setup while the Si used fuel injection. the carb model actually had 3 valves per cylinder. if you have any questions about the car, lemme know. AllDatapro goes back far enough for me to look anything up.

Lou's was a step below the Si, but was some special package... it had a reflective panel between the taillights on the rear of it, a gold stripe above the rocker panels with gold, lacey-style Enkei wheels. Also, it had aero-headlights instead of buckets. It was a carb'd 1.5L/5speed
