Porsche Gemballa GT2 944 Type R

Saw this in Belleville. Ugh.

Just hideous. Imagine standing back from this creation and thinking 'yup, I'm finished here'. Unbelievable.

Note the DUAL rear spoilers, one factory, and one, an ironing board WITH adjustable angle, for those pesky moments when you JUST NEED MORE DOWNFORCE.

A lot of people who track their cars use an adjustable spoiler while keeping the stock one.

So whats wrong with it? The rear spoiler is mounted good enough to call it functional, and the front looks better than dried out 80's styling. The wheels look decent and the side mirrors are whatever. From the bad pics, it looks cool to me.

Maybe provide better pics if you want people to agree with you?

It's soooooo fucking greasy.

Sure, the 944 had dried out 80's styling, but the 924 was the car that STARTED that look, and the 944 is practically the same thing.

The owner probably has a ponytail, gold chain with a cross, pointy leather shoes and a silk shirt.

I took the pics with my cell phone, since I wasn't exactly planning on a photo shoot with this piece.

The front looks like a Porsche 944 wrapped in a garbage bag... which it is.

You don't rice out a Porsche. End of story. It looks like shit. I hope it catches fire.

It has 2 wings... it's orange, black, yellow AND red.

AND IT HAS SCISSOR DOORS.

But I was trying to be stealth like while taking pictures of it's offensive qualities.

lol so true

I'm definitely not a fan of the dual spoilers and garish paint job, but Gemballa is a pretty reputable tuning house, and assuming its legit and not some shitty body kit, its probably half decent work. The paintjob is uglier than a bum's asscrack though...should've just gone plain black and it wouldnt be so offensive.

It's soooo not legit Gemballa. Gemballa only made a skirt package for the 944, and this car doesn't even have that.

It's a disgrace to Gemballa, Porsche and people who can read.

This same guy has a mercedes C220 "BRABUS"... also. It's worse than the "Porsche". Even has V12 badges.

i took a huge amount of heat a few years ago when i decided that I wanted a Cobalt RS. I had just a base coupe and GM did not offer an RS package (other than dealer-applied stripes that were horrid), so I decided to do it how I think GM/Chevrolet should've done it. I ordered the emblems from a 68 Camaro RS, had Z-stripes painted on, aftermarket aluminums, the requisite white-lettered BF Goodrich tires... I was looking into having the seats embroidered with a kit I found at year one from the old 80's RS Camaro's. I thought it turned out ok. Over on Cobalt SS.net, I was roasted as a heretic! A charlatan! It was great.

I'd say your car was tasteful though, almost done as a tribute.

This "Porsche" is just an abortion. Cover it in glue and roll it in eBay.

that just doesn't look like what a Porsche should be. It should be refined, not look like it fell out of a wanna-be tuners crayon box.
...and be one color.
