What's the worse case scenario for a bad throwout bearing? I just inherited a high mileage Accord (250k). Besides a noisy throw out bearing, it needs nothing and runs perfect. Clutch pickup is perfect. I don't mind spending the 120 bucks on a clutch kit, it's my labor that I'm trying to avoid. I'm not sure how long it's been making noise... what do you guys think? Replace it asap or say screw it and drive it?

That would annoy the crap out of me. I wouldnt take the trans down for only a TO bearing. You should drive it until it completely fails, then go through all the trouble to drop that trans. FWD transmissions are time consuming.

It just needs oil, drill a hole in the bell housing and pour in about 2 quarts. I guarantee it won't make anymore noise
