my dealer, a gm dealer of 30+ years lost his dealership last year in the re-structuring. He is now a KIA dealer and is closing out some gm things, my salesman called me to offer me a tech 2 for 2500$ its pretty recent as its not the HP one. should i!!!

im also eyeing the microfiche manuals!

My $100 Mac Tools scanner does twice as much as a Tech 2.

The Tech2 is a primitive lump.

im just looking for somthing that can program keyless entry remotes as well as the other stuff. I know a friends caddy we had to use a tech 2 after installing a new seat

Yeah, DealExtreme has OBD cables for most cars for 20-30 USD. They include basic software but there is better reader software that is out there. My father used to read codes with DIACOM in the DOS era.

Why coilovers? Bling bling. If you must, ECS has StreetLine kits in stock for $549. Thats cheaper than buying shocks and springs separately for non coilovers.
