Jeeps with square headlight's are not jeeps they are a tool of the Left wing/Homosexual/Communist/feminist/Devil worshiping liberal agenda to demasculinize the american male and turn him into a noodley armed twilight watching metrosexual.

I had to kill him, or starve......these pussy front wheel drivin' metrofucks dont have the balls to kill their own brother while fightin' fer moms floppy lunch filled titties in the back of a moving JEEP.

And don't get me started on them skinny lil' shiney fuckin' vampire's.

This made me smile. BTW forcing kids to ride in the backseat of a CJ-5 could be considered child abuse in some states

My uncle rolled a CJ5 9 times down a sand dune, I was running along beside it, jumping over drunks that were flying out of it on the way down. Nobody hurt, just the wind knocked out of a few people, flower wavin' pussys.......

Two of us stayed out with the JEEP in the middle of Glamis dunes. All the others headed 10 miles or so back to camp. The rescue team showed up about three hours later at 3:00 am. We threw on 3 spare rims, and drove that thing back to camp, where we thrashed it some more.......

Try that with a CIVIC.

These dunes are huge, High clearance, large foot print tires with 10lb of pressure, and low range 2spd xfercase is very helpful. A friend took a Subaru Brat out there, lowered his air pressure, and almost burned up his clutch.

He didn't have a 2speed case. and the ground clearance wasn't enough.

My sons Barbie Jeep (suzuki Samurai) out performed it in the tough stuff.

I have to make and exception for Cherokees/Grand Cherokees, Wagoneers and Cherokee Chiefs, J-trucks and Finally the YJ.

I had a CJ 5 with a warmed up swapped in 360 out of a Waggy and 3 speed manual, no power steering or brakes and side pipes. On 33's. I should be dead

FIERO!

/thread

I feel alot safer in my 88 Fiero than any Toyota, PT Cruiser, or 90s Ford right now. At least there were no deaths related to my car's recall.

I remember my uncle (former Ford employee) telling me about how when a car is under development at Ford, they assumed that the dealer would do any repairs.

I stopped taking my Tempo to the ford dealerships because every time I took it there to be fixed, something else (nice and expensive that is) would conveniently break a few days later. Not to mention having to fight tooth and nail to get them to honour the warranty.

The only time I would take my Tempo back was for warranty and recall issues. The rest of the time, I took it to a private mechanic. Finally got rid of the car and got a GM.

Hear hear!

And yeah, I learned my lesson very well. Stayed with GM and spent considerably less amount of time waiting for a tow truck.
