http://topdocument...failed-inventions/ I found a documentary on failed inventions, but there's a couple crazy parts to it. Ford toyed with a nuclear powered engine and Chrysler actually worked on a turbine powered car until the 1980's, what's amazing is it worked and...get this...it burned ANY combustible liquid, from alcohol to gasoline to corn oil. Only drawback was the acceleration lag time. Shael

They actually fixed the acceleration issue right before it was axed.

thats a pretty amazing video. the turbine ford looks pretty good. all the pics above with the exception of the firebird II are hideous
