wow... speechless. You guys are amazing. I knew you were excellent photographers, but wow. Just wow. Hydrotherapy, Avius, Aurelie, Blacklines, earthworm, oryx, thatwhichisi... you guys blow me away. ULiveAndYouBurn, please tell me where i can see more of your sculptures. I LOVE them!

I am a little hesitant to post anything since i consider myself more of a hobbyist than an artist. I paint as a form of meditation... I rarely draw anymore, but will doodle til I die.

This is a painting that i did in my old storage room. I had 5 roommates and needed a form of relaxation that didn't involve them. They were all afraid of the creepy storage room, so I spent most of my time in there.
(I think progression photos are fun)

I like to paint old furniture
Did this one in highschool and then redid it in college

When madcap and i moved in together I decided his dresser was too boring

and occasionally, I draw.

Thanks for looking and sharing your wonderful art!

You're actually pretty good at what you do. Don't sell yourself short. Push you mediation further!

Tourism, human circulation considered as consumption is fundamentally nothing more than the leisure of going to see what has become banal.

Just did some new stuff, but I'm not that into it. I think I need to grow a building in the ocean, build a tea house on a mountain, or make a shrine in a cave.

Yay Oryx. I love how meditative a lot of the geometric/patterned work is.

I've been 'painting' a bit more since work got me a new, gigantic iMac, though I keep forgetting to bring my 9x12 Wacom to work and just use my 3x5 HandCrippler one that I bought to carry around with me. I also have a scanner at my desk so the days I remember to bring a sketchpad and mechanical pencils often end with small sketches.

If I'm not drawing dinosaurs, I'm drawing small animals. That's just sort of how I roll.

Get down, girl, go 'head, get down.

Hydrotherapy, your illustration style is crazy good. I love the crane details and your shading technique in the last piece. Really a great set of work :]

Hydro, posting my work on the same page as yours makes me feel like a retarded infant holding up a piece of paper with shit smears on it.

I've been playing with watercolors at work. Here's the original. My phone made a few funky versions that I will probably paint again.
