Tech starts digging under the dash from the footwell area and a bag of weed drops out and bops him on the head LOL

I would think this happens A LOT in the auto service industry. I bet mechanics pocket what they find on occasion too.

Though Id love to see a customer come back to a service department... "HEY! I had an eighth in the glovebox!!"

Most of the work week I do security at an appartment complex. One of my duties is parking enforcement. ......

Oh yeah. That is definitely a pain in the ass for me as well. I've had people screaming over me issuing a warning notice on their car. I also take photos of the vehicles even if it is just a warning notice as I had one asshole move his car and then tell me that I gave him a warning for nothing. I also had another asshole accuse me of damaging his car. I asked where and he pointed out a scratch that he claimed I put on his car. I pointed out the rust in the scratch and told him this is old damage.

Another one is people getting pissed off and calling me incompetent and lazy when there's a stranger wandering the halls. Again, I check the surveillance after the stranger has been removed from the property (part of the report) and lo and behold, the person complaining about the stranger has opened the door for the stranger.

Suggest that they call the cops to report their weed stolen.

I never have any problems with people complaining about warnings to me. I do have a problem when the other officer who covers the rest of the week after me puts warnings on vehicles parked in the turnaround by the clubhouse which is allowed after 6 PM. I pretty much tell people who complain about that "You are correct, I didn't write this citation though, but I will take care of it" The resident typically looks at me and goes "Oh, well good"

I think it just means when you're too lazy to walk from a regular parking spot, you double park, because you'll 'only' be a jackass for 5 minutes.

I could be wrong.

Example: When I use to do delivery there was a place where you had to pay to park, or have a pass, and if you were doing a delivery, the moron rent a cop would throw a fit asking for you to pay, it was much fun waiting and watching him call the tow truck then leaving as soon as the tow truck came.

i lived in an apartment complex once and i was rebuilding my friends transmission so his car was on jackstands in my driveway and a guy in a tow truck comes banging on my door, i ask him what the fuck he wants and the conversation goes something like this:

him "you gotta take this car off the jack stands"

me "why"

him "so i can tow it"

me "why are you gonna tow it"

him "because its against the rules to leave a car on jack stands here"

me "but if i take it off the jack stands for you to tow it then it wont be on jack stands and you cant tow it"

he looks at me really confused for a few seconds and then notices the transmission sitting in my garage

him "is that from this car"

me "yeah i'm going to rebuild it"

him "well then i can tow it because its inoperable and you cant keep an inoperable vehicle here its against the rules"

me "ok well you cant tow my car for that without giving me 24 hours notice those are the rules"

him "you wont have that back together in 24 hours"

me "well then come back tomorrow and tow it"

the next day when he came back to tow it i was test driving it around in the parking lot

I'm surprised he didn't refuse entry to you or your employer did not arrange for a parking pass.

Wow, that tow driver is dumb. For working on cars in the driveway, thats more of a call to property management than towing.

If he has to go on a power trip, then he clearly is not knowing his properties rules.

AWESOME.

See I buy a boot key and then wait for them too boot em and after they leave then unlock every vehicle for free.

Edit: Apparently most use padlocks ... fuck it, I'd just pick the lock.

On my side of the fence I've had:

1) Too many people say "I'll only be 5 minutes" and they end up being there for two hours or more.
2) Assholes who complain to my boss that I allow the person to double park for five minutes and I wind up getting a shit fit.
3) Fire department issue a warning when the person is double parked in the fire route (even though it's only five minutes)
4) Legal and free parking available for no more than an extra 10 foot walk.
5) A double parker screaming that his car got banged in while being double parked.

You double parkers figure it's okay as it's us security guards who get reamed by our clients and bosses just because you're too damned lazy to park legally while you just walk away.

Sure. And then come out and find the guard (who may just happened to be licensed), issues you a parking ticket for being parked illegally.

Doesnt work that way around here, parking tickets are given out by parkign enforcement and when I do get tickets I get out of them.

I still fail to see why a delivery guy whos going in for 5 minutes should park 10 minutes away or have to pay to park..... Security guards, the guys who didnt make it to police academy.
