Rockauto.com sent out their November newsletter today. They always have a customers car in their newsletter. This month they have a guy named Tom's 1988 Pontiac Mera. Pretty friggin sweet car (kit based on Fiero)! http://www.rockaut...sletter/index.html
Tom's 1988 Pontiac Mera
This is my 1988 Pontiac Mera with only 28K miles. As most will agree, this is not your standard "kit car". The Mera was only available as a new car through Pontiac dealerships. Corporate Concepts of Capac, Michigan converted a total of 247 Fieros, 88 in 1987, and 159 in 1988. The build code for my Mera (#8044) indicates that this is the 44th built in 1988, and the 132nd built all together. I've purchased a number of items from RockAuto for all my cars, including brake pads and shock absorbers for this car. Thanks, Tom in Hawaii |

Worked on a Mera 8 or 9 years ago... it was very freaking cool. Driving it past the high school was great fun since I was 16 or 17 and the time.

Here's more pics of the above Mera. http://www.fiero.n...1/HTML/077195.html Saw one in person at Fierorama a few months ago. Alot of people mutilate them with Ferrari badges, this one was one of the few left in its original shape.
Rodney Dickman runs the registry on them: http://www.fiero.net/mera/article.html
