It was suggested that someone start a thread consisting of pics of your ride parked in front of an abandonment. A long time ago...

She was camera shy at the time. Eventually I sold her to a guy who used her in a demolition derby.

Nice. I promised myself that when I graduate and buy a new car next year that my shitty '99 taurus (the green bastard) is getting driven into the fucking ground in some type of improvised demolition derby (with jumps!)

The rear brake line was broken, I had to press down on the brakes (to the floor) about 50 metres before I wanted to stop. The body was rusting out. I was missing the top half of my rear shock because the wheel well had rotted out from the trunk area (say: BUMPY RIDE) and the power steering leaked. She was a good car and I drove many a place with her. I wondered how she fared in the demo derby but never made it to the event (Chelmsford Days).

Hello my fellow full size Chevy owner!
That car was killed not long after. So I bought an 86 Caprice instead with air conditioning!

Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

It is, it's the old edwards mill site that the city destroyed first and turned into a park, directly across the river from statler which will probably end up being a park also.
