This spot is in the database with some exterior photos but nothing like this. I've driven by the remnants of the facility 10 000 times and know it to be nothing more than a secure cement building and some large cement walls... I'd never seen it as an operating facility.. There are no pictures online. Until today when my Dad emailed me two photos.

He didn't indicate the date of these photos but I've inquired. I did happen to drive by the power dam last weekend once again, and it's wooden boarding has been fortified after deteriorating for years.

Turns out one of the cars in the photo is my great grandfather's '39 Packard. The photos are from 1940ish, the day the dam opened.

That's pretty sweet, hope you've added these pictures to the DB entry too. Didn't you say that at some point before summer, one of the window boards were removed??

That is totally cool, considering yesterday I was just there with Nootz, Sonikgirl, Protios, and N250cc. Here is what it looks like now.
The last one is inside, managed to get my lense through a hole. Looks like an old rocking chair in there.

The other you refer to is N250cc. The chair picture looks a lot better now that it's not on a 3" screen.

Hard to believe that's the same place.
