So, I went and saw about this job as a shuttle driver today. It was at a "recovery center," so I was figuring I'd be shuttling around a bunch of druggies or something, right?
WRONG. Women's recovery center for domestic abuse!
I walk in and there's trashy-hot twenty-something-year-old women everywhere. And I'm all dressed nice for an interview and getting eyeballed up and down with flirty looks. It was like I stepped into Manwhore Heaven.
They aren't making a decision until later in the week, but I am going to hound the shit out of them about this job.

Well... Might've blown the interview. It was hard to tell. Definitely could've gone better, but oh well. I hate those dumbass questions they ask you like, "Name a time when you had to resolve a conflict." Can never think of a good answer on the spot. They seemed to be impressed with my experience and work history, though, attendance, all that.
Plus, there seem to be a lot more duties than just driving the ladies around. You have to actually deal with them, escort them to therapy, and generally boss them around. Personally, I was thrilled about that. They seemed to think, though, because I am not a particularly aggressive person in real life, that I might be easily manipulated by the women. IRONIC AIN'T IT?

The correct answer to the conflict question would have been thus:
I was tempted to fuck her in the mouth/ass, but she was my father's new wife, and I didn't want to start a fight between my father and myself, because he's rich and I'm his only son, and I stand to inherit a huge sum of cash upon his death. It required a major commitment on my part, and there was much internal conflict as to what I should do. I'm glad I handled it the way I did. When he died six weeks later, I got the money AND his wife.
Next time, call me in advance for advice.

WR, careful if you get this job. I used to live across the street from a women's shelter, and damn, you can start to feel really bad for them. First thing you know, you want to fix her problems, fix her life and make her your own.

Agreed. There's the risk of permanent attachment, of developing strong emotional connection to the sensitive rescue figure. Some of these women will have children, and THEY might become emotionally attached to that figure as well.
