Nismo you can be such a tool.
i replaced the transmission on a BMW 318... yeah, intelligently designed my fat ass. I've also worked on my fair share of Volkswagens... if it's not air cooled, it's a nightmare.
Honestly, there is NO FUCKING CAR that is a pleasure to work on. None. Nada. Zip.
they are all grabastic fucking whores that hate.

you're too young, too naive, or too much of a fanboy to realize that.

Seconded.

I would rather be under an oily dirty car any day, instead of under a dashboard.

After doing those brake lines, I'd be happy to trace some underdash wiring. I fit well under dashboards.

I forgot to mention said truck had been oil undercoated THE DAY BEFORE the brake line blew.

thirded...

i love gm but why why would the official procedure in a w body for changing the back three spark plugs involve disconecting an engine mount, thats just silly! or why would hyundai put a phillips screw to hold brake disks on... you know that screw is gonna be seized and get stripped as you remove it!!

Right now dealing with a rear brake caliper on my Speed Triple. Dumshitz used small allen bolts to secure the pads within the calipers, blew out the inside of the allen head with my thirty year old allens. This job should take minutes. I've had the bolt soaked with WD40 for a week, Vicegrips will be my next step, all I need is to break it free of the brake smudge/glue/corrosion/kryptonite.

Did a front pad replacement on my '95' F-150 Company truck. I'll swear, all I did was toss the pads in the general direction of the rotors, and they installed themselves.

4.9 liter inline 6, 5 speed, Eddie Bauer edition, I put 130,000 miles on that truck, always overloaded, she never whimpered once. I had to hand her in when I switched jobs, I'll swear that truck loved Me.

Wish I had the cash, I'd have bought her!!

when i took the AC off my 3.8 i had an OOPS im an idiot moment. I could clearly see the three bolts holding the compressor to the bracket... But think i saw the 2 tiny bolts on the back bracket, NAY NAY. so when it didnt budge i just thought i had a compressor seized to the bracket. after an hour of hammering and swearing i got out a miror and found those 2 bolts. Never felt so stupid.

I don't mind working on anything pre '03 or so.

My '72 2002 is about as complex as a lawnmower.
