or cell tower, or watertower. And unless you're on the top, if you slip and fall there's plenty of crap around you that you can grab onto and catch yourself. And if you pay attention to what you're the fuck doing and have even a remote sense of balance, you won't fall.

That's so true. I worry more about what I'm climbing breaking than me actually falling off. But then again, as long as you're careful you can figure out what will hold your weight and what won't.
