It's fine, sometimes I can't remember my name either. Yeah, it's a shame about the old cement plant and Mueller. At least Austin still has the power plants (for the moment).

Maybe next month will be better, with SXSW outta the way, and the huge crowds gone. If it doesn't rain horribly, the drains Gallifrey showed me are a good option.
Also, I will be buying a boat, (Crappy inflatable boat, which I will spraypaint) and will be able to check out things not easily accessible by land.

I want to take a moment and say HI, and that I'm still alive..I'm so sorry I haven't been in touch here, and haven't been able to go explore. between work, and my health, and the many changes in life, I haven't had time. Physically..I don't know If I'll ever be able to go out exploring again. It breaks my heart too, because I've meet some of you guys, and had a lot of fun. I'm still contending with the docs on options..but it's looking damn bleak for now. I hate that I'm missing out..and that my stupid body is having to give out..but I'm hoping for a little more time, If they can grant me that, I'll post here, and maybe we can all meet up for drinks and food, and a good explore. I've also moved into a place more.. fit..for my physical needs. I'm in North Austin now. Might be looking at a move again end of September/early October my return will depend on finances and health. But it's out of state..When I get somewhere liveable..I'll post here, and ask around, If I see anything cool..I'll let you guys know, maybe you can come visit me We'll see!! Just know that I miss going out, and exploring and the conversations a lot..and it's torture just sitting here..Till next time.. Bodecia

Hey everyone, It's been quite a while since I've been on the forums. I'm living in Portland Oregon now so someone else should probably be in charge of this meetup... volunteers?

definitely good reasons. just wanted to check out a new place that wasn't Texas mostly. I just got married last december and we both decided we had been in texas long enough and wanted to start doing some serious traveling so we just kinda took off. went to San Francisco first, now we're in Portland.

Anyone interested in reviving the Austin meet & greet?
| |
I am, is there anyone else around anymore?
| |
Me, but now I'm generally unavailable until after 2:30 on weekends because of work.

Where on west 6th is Opal Devines I'm having trouble mapping it. Is that where we are actually meeting? Because the map on the event leads to whole foods

The information on this is old mate, 3+ years. Just letting you know so you don't show up at some place expecting something that isn't going on.

Hahah yeah he would be the only one there Im afraid. I will see if I can remove the event people start these and never follow up. Somebody can always start a new one, hopefully with a one time date.

Ok, I killed it. and, well, the creator Suupelocian has not logged in since 2014 - this is a typical problem with events in UER system - its really easy to set these up as a "one time" event - if you set it up to "occur monthly" or every week or every year, it will even if nobody is interested in going every month week or year - just start a new one each time you hold an event its much easier and nobody shows up disappointed OR if you set it up to occur monthly then manage it and have someone in charge show up for it.. - this thread is now locked to prevent more confusion
