Here we go:

Now not only is that gap big enough for a person to snake through...

...the links are held together with wire, and the lock doesn't do anything.

This may be the end of the post, but you ain't seen the end of me!

I know we've all seen one of these, but doesn't it make your day when you find one?

I climbed a crane for the second time, discovering various signs they knew someone had climbed before. But rather than any actual security measures, all they did was lock the crane cab, and... put up these signs around the bottom two levels of the crane: Caution - Slippery Floor. On a crane.

The alarm code was pretty easy to figure out.

Défense de passer means no trespassing. You had to be careful not to bump your head on the sign as you ducked under it to climb further up and get a much better and more perilous photo than you could from the vantage point that was safe from crumbling rocks waiting to collapse under you and dump you into the ocean below.

I once was scoping a huge location which I assumed would have very extensive security and their security was one old dude sitting in a lawn chair with a flash light on one end of the campus which was absolutely gigantic.

to be fair. An effort was made to keep the shackle somewhat hidden. but it doesn't make it less pathetic.

I almost hopped a fence to a property a 3am, there was a freaking bear roaming the place. I shined my flashlight around before jumping down thank goodness.

I mean it's a genius security measure, if it was intentional. (Doubt it lol)

Lol, a bear...that's great! Reminds me of the "trained attack bears" in (I think) Command and Conquer.
I guess my funniest was exploring an abandoned Arkansas theme park with my brothers, we pull up to the front gate (big steel cage looking gate with sturdy chain link fencing around the perimeter), and we noticed it was being held shut by a short length of old nylon rope. My brother says, "Well, this might be a problem, if they tied the knot too tight!"
As he started to untie it, a black SUV rolled up and two guys tell us they're meeting with the owners on the grounds...they said it was VERY unlikely we'd get in, especially since the current owner got the property in a lawsuit after damn near killing himself while riding an ATV on the grounds.
Fortunately, as I took pics from the road, my brothers found a service road into the park, approached the group, and asked if we could explore, and they let us in.

I was in an all day class about a new public safety communications system that's supposed to be the last word in reliability and security.

The handout provided in the class had the frequency list and Fleet Map blurred. The information was visible on the Power Point slide, so you could see it on the screen, but not on paper and we got this spiel:

The Fleet Map is considered classified material. Radio programming data is sent to the radio dealer in an encrypted file and the key is provided via telephone to preserve the integrity of the system security.

That's funny, because the Fleet Map, frequencies and coordinates of the transmitter site are all posted on Radio Reference.

Yes, the state communications geeks know about it and admitted that what's on radioreference.com is accurate.

A personal favorite, even though I accidentally blurred it a little... I keep asking myself how long it took them to come up with all those three letter words to fit into the window panes:
