Of course I was much younger then.....

No shit CR! You got one of those girls Roller-Derby skating teams to do that? Cool. From what you wrote about your deering-do on motorcycles you're lucky to be alive.
These guys wrote about me:

It's the ...uh.....Everly Brothers.
And yea, I'm aging just fine. But I am seriously jealous bout that Roller-Derby team thing.

Is there a roller derby team called the B52's?

I was referring to the musical group The B52's and their song called The Love Shack, there is a line in there referring to a tin roof that has rusted. I thought i'd use that line to illustrate the awesome power of my prostate.

Any stories regarding my daring deeds, are purely fabrications of my overactive, and swiss cheese like, Alzheimers riddled mind!!!!

How's your skate board?? I played a little street hockey with my grandson the other day, they asked why I brought the pucks and sticks? I told them without those items, you're just figure skating!!!

We switched to skate boards after a bit, a fun time was had by all, I'm sure the local kids thought I was gonna drop of a heart attack.

Sure glad I didn't.

I wonder how Sams bearings are doing???? Still waiting for those photos!!

Actually the women's roller derby team was called the "Bombers" and they were both tough and hot!.

Be careful mixing it up with the younger set, we don't heal as quickly as we used to. You're lucky to be a grandfather already, gives you lotsa years to spend with him!

I just got mine a few months ago, (My son waited a long time)and he's aging real well. Here he is at his first 5K road race.

"O.K., Let's get this sucker done!"

And the skateboard is back in the basement. I simply cannot afford an injury that keeps me from working so I'm being cautious. UE will provide the thrills from now on.

Goddammit Sam, where's those pics???

He looks ready to go, handsome li'l guy!!

I know what you mean about not healing as fast as we used to, I was kinda sore for a day or so. My latest problem however is breathing, after a few minutes of semi strenuous activity, I'm winded, and almost hyperventilating, it's like my lungs don't expand like they used to. I work in buildings that are under construction and I find that in climbing the stairs, at the fourth floor, I'm done for. I'll have to take a break at the fourth for a couple of minutes, then i"m good to go again. This sucks dog balls!!

What song Did the Everly Brothers write about or for you???

Here's My grandson a few years ago, it's all I could dig up on this computer.
Still a great shot though, He loves his hot rod!!

CR: Now that's a proud new car owner! Good looking chap.
Sam: Now that little fellow looks like a mischievous handful!

The Everly Bros song for me was "All I Have to do is Dream", which kinda described my sex-life at the time.

CR: Cardio Respiratory endurance is no different from any other physical function, i.e. if you don't lose it, you lose it. If it were anyone else
I'd say pick a local 5K road race in your area that's about a month away and I'll set you up with a training program, but:....Do your past injuries preclude your doing that kind of aerobic exercise?

This 5K road race you mention, can I ride my motorcycle?

It seems I can't do a lot of repetitive spine jarring motions, or anything that compresses the vertebrae, I can jump, fall, roll, climb, run. Lifting and transporting heavy things can cause pain for a day or so due to nerve path spurs.

If I'm carefull I can do almost anything, paddling a board can be done pretty good, but breathing gets very important if a large set of waves comes thru. You don't want to be out of breath as you're fighting to control the board, or just plain trying to stay calm and wait till things settle down a bit.

I'm sure I could run, and have run about a mile with a few weeks of work, but 5K seems a bit out of my realm? I know, I know. I'm a pussy!!

Is running the best option? If yes, I need to start. I walked up 4 flights of stairs today, and was out of breath. This will not do!!!!

Sam, Cute nephew, I had never thought of the ass end as being the business end of a rocket, however seeing him stuffed in there like a fuse has made me realize that both ends mean serious business.

Ha, thanks, I'm up at 4:45am, but I'm runnin' feedin' dogs and critters till I jam out the door to work, I'll have to do evening runs. I went up seven flights of stairs yesterday nonstop, it was tough. but I'm gettin' a little better.
Thanks guys.
