Toys aren't fun if you can't get tetanous from them if they've been outside for a few months. I used to have a whole fleet of the old Tonka trucks, one was a crane that was articulated in the middle... had about 10 places you could chop fingers off with. Good times.

Alright is it a Russian TAZ, or Russian or Chinese millitary knock off of a Jeep? Say a 1979 model?

I think that Jeep is either one of the old Willys high-hood Jeeps, or the Mahindra version that is still manufactured under license in India. Probably the latter I'm guessing since this thread is meant to trip people up. Ford made some GPWs during the war but they mostly looked like the other Jeeps aside from Ford stampings in some areas, IIRC. I think Ford also made that strange military Jeep from the Vietnam era that wasn't really supposed to be sold to the public of whatever.

The metal Tonka trucks were awesome. I had a dump truck when I was a kid, and I used to love sitting in the bed of it on my knees and pushing myself around in it...My sidewalk's on a bit of a slope, so I'd always take it to uphill bit and ride down towards the house. Realized I was outgrowing it when my feet drug all the way down the (40 foot) sidewalk one day...Got some interesting scars from that one. edit: The tops of my feet, I mean.

Alright, Enough vacation, name these "cars" You'll notice one has been nicely restored, while the other two await the same treatment. Spray in bed liner was even used on the restored one.

I had a bunch of those! I remember they used to say TURBO DIESEL on the cab and MR-970 on the plastic tires. I had the dump, cement mixer, the crane with the articulated metal arm and "cables" made of string, the big grader as well as the smaller six wheeled one, the bulldozer, as well as a bunch of the Nylint and Buddy L trucks. I think they are still sold as "Classic Tonka", but I wouldn't doubt they are now crap made in China or something, which of course renders any "Tonka" to be null and void.

We actually used to sit on the backs of them with our legs outstretched, and ride them down hills right in the middle of the street...haha

A few good guesses... but nope.
It's a Mitsubishi Jeep, built under license.

I've always wanted an old jeep like that, never thought I could get a brand new one. Absolutly dig the headlight rock guards. My turn.

The color scheme and push bumper might make this harder to identify? I can't seem to get the size right here! sorry.
