Pet Loss

I know a lot of times, the loss of a pet is trivialized but many people I know love their animals like children and I have seen them deal with that loss and go through the same grief cycles as anyone who has lost a human loved one. The best support site I could find for this is posted below.

It feels awkward and childish to grieve over a pet, as an adult, despite knowing that there are undoubtedly others going through the same thing. Good to know there are sites like that around.
