It's been three years now, and people have oft times told me that I should be over my loss. A general disagreement is called for on my part, because Jack was a very important person to me. I love my grandfather, and it was horrid watching him slowly pass as his nervous system shut down on him. In 2006, Jack died of Lou Gehrig's Syndrome. I'll miss him forever, and to look back and think of his suffering brings tears to my eyes. I'm not hear to cry though, I'm here to get over my grief. I can center on a few of the grand lessons he taught me, namely the greatest words of advice I have received in my 23 years of this realm. "Don't learn everything about one thing, sonny. Learn a little bit about everything." I will always think of you Grandpa, and you'll always be in my heart. Make sure a seat gets saved for me at the table up there. I'll have a lot of stories to share with you from the remaining 55 years of my life.
