A state cop told my dad that one of the most clever plates the CT State police had to yank one guys plates that read:

3•MTAE

It got through CT-DMV no problem.
Which with the way the CT plates are issued (1 number and 1-6 letters) is closest one can get to
3ATME
in your rearview.
