Inspired by some of the great light painters in the SW, I hit up a state park with eroding cliffs.

Indeed! I placed two warm lights, then moved around with a bright, cool one.

Ah, it's been a while since I've posted some lightpainting, so I have a slight backlog. Also, it makes me sad that this thread is a little dormant, so BOOM:

Part 1: Fountains!
1.

2.

Part 2: Summer Shenanigans!

3.

4.

Part 3: Miscellaneous!

5.

(Taken with a crappy P&S that I was given during a photography competition. 4 hours, no post-processing, and one camera that was given to us to use. I think the white umbrella detracts from the overall shot, but hey...I got a lightpainted shot in there!)

6.

(I took this recently...The light from the flashlight I was using (crappy Costco light) started spreading into a spectrum when I walked a fair distance down the tunnel...interesting. I'm blaming it on the cheap plastic lens, but do you guys have any ideas as to what caused this rather interesting effect?)

7.

(Terrible lightpainting, but I was working with minimal equipment and balance precariously)

I know I'm not the only one that sees a location and thinks, "Holy shit, that would be so cool to light paint!"
