I use mine at work a fair amount,damn thing is really tough as nails. been dropped on cement,slammed in the truck door and just generally beat on. the thing just keeps on taking it. I hear ya about the pressure switch though....a nice option to have the momentary on/off. I think this one is more of a "hand held" rig that just happens to be weapon mountable.
