Due to the previous Moderators absence in the past (few months!) I have stepped up to moderate the UE Buy/Sell forum. Here are some of the updated rules:
The purpose of this board is to offer UER members a place where they can openly buy, sell or trade anything (legal) they want amongst themselves.

UER.ca, Avatar-X, any moderators, administrators nor myself, do not assume any responsibility the for dealings between buyers and sellers. This board is merely offered as a topic-specific forum for members to post items they want to buy, sell or trade.

Over the next few days I will be going trough the memberlist and "cleaning house" of inactive members. I will be using the following guidelines for removal of members:
Inactive on UER for over 90 days
Last post in buy/sell over 90 days
In addition, if you have any complaints/questions/comments about anything in the buysell, please contact me.

Just wondering what the purpose of removing less frequent uer users is? Wouldn't you want as many people as possible able to see the board? I don't really care, but it seems like a bunch of effort for no reward.

The basic idea of that is to give other members a chance to utilize this part of the forum to buy/sell. If we could have an unlimited amount of members on a private forum, then that would make a lot of sense. As it was before the forum was FULL. Going through the memberlist, all but about 30 of them haven't posted at all. About 20 of them have been active and will stay.
The way I see it it does not make sense to keep members that haven't participated in the forum.

All private forums have a max person limit. You empty some users, so that more new users who actually want to post, can.
