I wondered how Kurtz did that? I guess He just caught it before you could fix it. Sly ol' dog. Meta, You know the photo I'm talkin about? at an abandoned rail depot, with the wild flowers, I wish I could have gotten a shot like that when my daughter was that age, all I cared about at that point was drinking and snortin' coke! I think they grow up much faster than we anticipate, If you miss a moment or span in time, you never see those moments again, I wish I had some do overs!!

Erik is soon to be an Eagle Scout, has a wonderful girlfriend (her dad's a lawyer!) and is all around a great kid, except for the usual teenage stuff. he's also a budding urban explorer. Ben has Asperger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism. He marches to the beat of his own drummer, but has a very endearing personality. Otto is a pure-bred dachshund, and won the wiener dog race at the Oktoberfest this year, but was disqualified because we used a laser pointer for him to chase. He poops in the house occasionally.

It's always so unsettling to find a disembodied head just lyin' in the leaves!!! What is Eric using to get his lips flappin' like that, looks to big to be an air compressor nozzle, could it be one of those old Whammo air blast guns? Otto is hung like a mule, he could probably run faster if you taped that thing up, Keep it from scrubbin' off speed.

Yeah, I know the ones! Abandoned railway platform, last December. Wow, it's been ten months since I took these shots - where does the time go?
And the same site in March, with her little brother in tow, too.

Yup! those were the ones, Gold I tell ya, I'd of thought they were only from a couple of months back, My momma always said time goes faster as you get older, I thought she was nuts, Turns out she was right about a whole lot of things. Don't blink, That's 24 years right there, seems like yesterday we were sharing a Mickey D's Happy Meal, I miss my little girl, but I sure love my growdup daughter.

A quick snap from today, while we ate a barbecue lunch in the park. Aww, why can't they stay little forever?

When they are young, we protect them, feed them, walk with them, answer their "why is the sky blue" questions. We miss the young version when we look back at pictures. But I gotta tell ya' having somebody that is a part of you,who grows up and goes thru those teen years, and then turn into a really great person, man that is a great feeling. Creating a really great Mommy or Daddy or somebody who really adds value to this planet, with goals, aspirations, morals, that is what it's all about. I could leave this planet right now, not that I want to, but I would be comfortable in knowing that I have assisted in adding a few good, loving and caring people to this planet. I have not made a million dollars, but I have made some really bitchin' people.

That's great! Did she have a blankie to throw over the barbed wire at the top?

Found another one on the same night, that is my 4 year old daughter climbing the fence and the 22 month old studying her closely.

As you can see by the second photo, it is actually a ball diamond and they put the plastic pipe along the top to stop players from getting injured. Young explorers in training.

He's using a leaf blower. Not the smartest thing to do... Yeah, Otto takes after his dad... Not me, Duke. Actually, he's due to be fixed very soon.

So, this afternoon my brother and I took the clippers to my son, and fashioned a crude fauxhawk! I'd intended it as a joke, and planned to buzz it all off afterwards, but it actually looks very cute on him Note: it isn't really all off-centre like it looks in the shot

Ok, my kid...he's 16, has an IQ in top .03 of the population, when means public schools were completely unable to deal with him. so he's been homeschooled for most of his life. he taught himself to play classical guitar by reading on the internet, does game mods as a hobby, is into photography and wierd ass euro music that I totally don't get into. He's a great kid, and a complete wierdo like his dad.

He just turned 40. We share some hobbies. Don't listen to the same music either.
