Apadravyas (vertical)

Ok, so I'm thinking about getting one done in the next 3 months or so, and I have a couple questions for anybody who has one, I know you're in here!

How much does it suck to have done? Any tips for preparation? How much did it cost you? How long did you have to wait before you could use your buddy again? Any tips for aftercare?

If you could just give me the pros and cons it would rock too.

Omg why???? Just get your tongue done and that will make you king.

Haha, I already have my tongue done, (also my nipple and lip) and while it does drive 'em nuts it really doesn't do much for me. The apadravya is more of a selfish thing for myself that just happens to have about as much use for the lady.

And yeah Tams, that's something I'm betting is gonna suck. Apparently though, having the piercing through the urethra is beneficial since the ammonia in urine quickens the healing process. That's what it says on BMEzine encyclopedia at least.

I spend a lot of time in a studio that does piercings. Really, think about this. Why would you take such a chance with something so ummm... I can't find the right word, valuable maybe? I have seen genital piercings go very bad even when they are taken care of. It is very ugly.

Well I do understand the risks involved. I've spent a lot of time researching already, and I've only decided on getting it yesterday.

Anyway, I'm a very pierce-able person, none of my piercings have ever gotten even slightly infected or had to be removed for any reason. I also don't bleed much when I get pierced. The only piercing that actually bled when I got it done was my tongue. I'm also totally anal about after-care, and I'm sure I would be even more so with my buddy. From what I'm reading, it's not really as terrible as it's made out to be. You just have to be badass enough to get past the mental part of it.

Why would someone who spends a lot of time in a piercing studio mention only the bad things? You should be concerned about that studio if the have a huge volume of infected piercings.

Plus if you were hanging out in my studio and discouraging people i would kick your ass outta there.

If you calculated the risks and take care of things properly, why not? and you already have a bunch so you know how likely you skin is to grow over it, which is none for you.

i say go for it.

I never said that the studio itself has a huge volume of infected piercings.

What I said was "I have seen genital piercings go very bad even when they are taken care of."

It is also a bad thing to just say go for it and take people's money. They need to know the risks involved. This a body part that is not just there serving no real purpose. There a quality of life issues here that will go right in the crapper if there are problems.

Yeah, I don't think an 8 gauge with a 3/4'' ball on top and a 1/2'' inch ball on the bottom is going to get grown over!

*thinks about the awesomeness of that statement*

that's gonna feel wicked once I can use it!

I really do appreciate the concern and the warnings. But trust me, the thoughts have already crossed my mind a million times. Having a metal bar shoved through the head of my cock isn't something I could really take lightly, lol.

I'm going to go to a very well trusted piercer. Starlight tattoo has been named by The National Tattoo Association "the best tattoo studio worldwide", and I know their piercers are just as good. If I get into any trouble with it at all I'd go directly to my piercer and have it checked out. I'm very confident in my piercer and my body.

Anyway, I know there's SOMEBODY on here with an apadravya! I've seen the posts a while back. If you still read this board, don't be shy!

Apparently if used correctly it makes a world of difference. I guess there's only one way to find out! I've read about 30 or so stories so far, and not a single person who's gotten it done has regretted it.

I'm giving it at least a month to make sure I'm really set on it though.... Maybe even more... I'm just trying to collect as much info right now as possible.

Ahh, sorry didn't notice that before, lol. Well, it's good to know at least it's unique. Like I said, I'm really getting it for myself anyway, I hear it makes quite a difference for the guy, and I'd imagine that's correct. I know after I got my nipple pierced it's become about 1000x more sensitive, in a very good way. Hopefully this'll do the same.

I could see where it would make quite a bit of difference for the women with that barbel in contact with g-spot but I just don't see how it would help for the guy. Oh well, I guess it does though if you've talked to people who have it. Good Luck man! Make sure and let us know how it turns out. Please, no pictures though.
