I dont like it, dont like the steering wheel cover either. Thats a VERY nice interior. Why cover and change it up? If anything, i think the blue kit you got would look GREAT in simulated carbon fiber. The steering wheel cover though, thats such a nice wheel.

Ive rented a Malibu SS and 2 Cobalts. I love both interiors.

the steering wheel cover is on there so my big nasty callused hands don't ruin the steering wheel. the blue pieces themselves are not covers, but actual pieces. Personally, i really don't care for carbon fiber and the original stock interior was too plain.

Thats just a little too BOO YAH for me Sam. I think if it were not 'marbleized' and a less loud hue of blue then it would be cool. IMHO of course

seconded. The dash is very nice. The blue makes it look like riced up civic interior.

Honestly, I'm not a fan at all. The blue flames are very rice. Come on man, you know better.

If it was a flatter, softer blue, mehbe.... kinda like BMW two-tones on the s54 M-coupes (rolling shoebox) and the E39 M5 400 HP N/A sedan, gods daily driver to keep miles off his E30...

Agreed with the majority, it's close but not right on the money.
In my opinion, a modification should change the look of things, but appear like it came from the factory. The intensity of the blue matches the exterior of the car.... but is too in your face in regards to the rest of the interior

Not my style.

and i know what you mean about the steering wheel cover, i never used a cover, and my wheel is gross to the touch now. lots of the enamel has come off, making me need to wash my hands every time i get out of the car.

it's supposed to be lightning, not marbled and it is an option from the factory on all Cobalts and G5's.
my interior was too plain.

I like it.
... and unlike a riced-out Civic, I have the engine to back it up.

The photos don't do it justice, seriously.
It looks quite nice, matches the door handle thingies he's got.
Now...we just have to go get that short throw shifter next week.

All I have to say that's negative is that steering wheel cover...It's gotta go! My little brother has one of those things.

I'd rather have the old school crappy vinyl kind so you can pull the wire wrapping off and play with it. hahaha

i would sooner part with a testicle than that wheel cover. It was in my 96 and 98 Cavalier as well as my 2005 Cobalt... it keeps my nasty, chemical burned, callused hands from ruining the steering wheel.
