Societal woes

Okay, so it has ocurred to me that with kids getting into relationships younger and younger and fucking like rabbits, they tend to not have that important transitional time to really find themselves and what they are passionate about.....aside from having sex...People put too much effort into relationships and "making them work" Too often it seems people seek validation through an intimate relationship.

Honestly folks, if you are not really happy with yourself, how can you expect to truly be happy with someone else? The question is not how do I attract women or men. It isn't, Why do they not seem interested. The question is: Why is it I cannot stand myself? It has been brought up time and time again. Confidence is a big turn on. People look for it, because if you are happy with your own life, you are a much more pleasant person.

No one likes miserable people. Someone might feel sorry for you, but that won't last forever. Don't create a relationship prison for yourself that keeps you from discovering the things you really enjoy. And for fuck's sake people, think about responsibility and really consider your future....

Hey yeah you, fat ass. Not interested.

Wow. great advice. You're what...? 20 years old.

You know nothing. Just sayin...

You're right. I could not have possibly made a single valid observation in my twenty years on this planet. Sorry I had such gross misconceptions.

Dude...I love you. You know that. I wasn't dissing you, because I love you. I want to hug you and look into your eyes and smile and say "I love you." And I want you to believe me when I say that I love you.

Because it's true.

Actually...I'm just a little bit full of shit. I'm sure you're a nice guy, and you are smart and intelligent and well-informed and maybe you're even cute. I have no idea. And believe me now and hear me later when I say that I took your words to heart: miserable people are a fucking drag. That is truth, simple and elegant and pure.

Miserable people are a fucking drag.

But here's another truth: your experience (relative to that of someone twice your age) is limited. You have not been previously and are not now married. You don't have children. You are not saddled with staggering debt. If your girlfriend/boyfriend pisses you off, you can hit the switch and end the relationship and move on with relative ease. Others don't have that luxury.

Just sayin.

PS. How cute are you, anyway?

are you coming on to me?

Also, I think I made it clear that I was speaking of the age group that I can speak for. The laws and financial fuckings that the government sees fit to impose on married people wanting to end shit is a whole different story.

But much of what i said, I believe, still applies to any relationships. just with different constraints.

No. I'm still married.

That aside, what you said still applies, and as I said, I took it to heart.

Now answer my fucking question: just how cute are you, anyway?

Which valley might we happen to stroll upon you bound and defenseless in. Just, you know, so we can watch out for you.
