I get premonitions all the time... the most interesting was when I was out for a rip in my old BMW with 2 other friends, probably going about 170-180 km/h. I just had this really bad feeling, and slowed right down to the speed limit, and bam, a deer runs out right in front of my, close enough that my car touched it's tail.

I've had premonitions probably 90 percent of my life. Most people get them and pass them off as Deja Vu. Myself...I know better. I've learned to know better over the years.
Mostly it's dreams.
The problem is the way you get them, you don't always know what you're seeing until you see it happen in front of you.
I'm not very religious, I never have been, but I do believe in God. God shows you things, he shows them to everybody, it depends on whether or not you want to listen to what he's showing you.
Samurai knows this story, I don't share it often because people think I'm crazy when I do.
In August of 2001, I had a nightmare, one I still have from time to time, but each time it's different, the first one I will never forget though.
I heard something go by my window, my bedroom is on the second floor of the house and I was in the state when you're half asleep, half awake. That's when most of these happen to me. It was definitely an aircraft, I heard a loud smack noise and what I could only describe as tearing metal, I could smell smoke, hear screaming, among other things. It was very abstract. I jumped out of bed, smelled smoke, burning rubber, among other things, also kerosene. What really got me is that I don't have a kerosene tank or storage for it, or even have kerosene. We've always used regular home heating grade fuel oil.
It was mostly abstract smells and sounds, I stood there for a good ten minutes, at least, then realized nothing was wrong and went back to sleep. I had to get up for work that day anyway.
A month later, 9/11 happened. I'm still not sure if that was what I was experiencing, but I felt guilty because what if that was what I saw and I didn't tell anyone in time? I went to therapy for a little while afterwards to try to get over it. I still get nightmares from it.
With premonitions, you can see what can happen, you can see what will happen, or you can just see a possibility of what could happen. Sometimes I think I saw a possibility of what could have happened. I found out later that on the morning of 9/11, the first plane that hit the Trade Center went over us probably an hour before it happened, it was that far up here. Other times, I think I saw something else. I still don't know what I saw, but it was that vivid and that scary that it still gives me nightmares occasionally and sometimes I don't sleep well because of it.

I also find that I see things when I'm awake... if I've been driving for a long time at night, I can sometimes make out human and animals figures- VERY plainly.

Everyone on this board is gonna think I'm crazy now... lol

People already think I'm nuts, so that wouldn't be a first.

Well, everybody on this forum thinks I am nuts anyway. It shouldn't surprise anyone that "I see dead people". Which I do, sometimes.

Great movie!

Of course, I could add a caption to that to reflect on how I feel after work....

Funny, you always seemed like one of the saner ones. (until now), kidding, maybe it's your AV Keen to hear about you seeing dead people...

Man I had a weird UE dream last night. 3 stories underground, 4 foot wide by 6 foot high square edge tunnels, made of chalky sandstone substance. There were a couple of doors, I had to go back up, then start again, the descent. The air got heavier as I went deeper. Kind of like a maze on 3 levels. Probably a compilation of all the cool threads in my head.

Tonight I'm going to do more UE threads and eat 2 pounds of cheese before going to sleep.

I just ate a shitload of peanut M&Ms and half a bag of Salt/Vinegar Cape Cod potato chips....after a big helping of Chinese delivery. This should make for an interesting nights sleep.

Obviously, Gary Gygax is communicating with you in your sleep.

Cool. Lame of me though, didn't know who he was until the posts of his recent passing.
