Reading through these old thread prompted me to resurrect this one...

I used to work at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, right on Public Square downtown. It's an historic building, and it's well known that several workers died during the construction in the 1920s. Apparently some of them have never left, or perhaps there are some guests that have never checked out.

The fourth floor, where my office (Event Technology) was, is apparently well known for paranormal activity. Toilets flush by themselves (I've witnessed it), and occasionally people can be seen in the hallway going into rooms that are later found to be vacant. The fourth floor is all smaller banquet/meeting rooms, plus the balcony of the ballroom. I've never seen any of the phantom people, but one of my co-workers said, when there were no events going on that would have guests on that floor, that he saw someone go into a room down the hall. He went to accost the person (since there was nothing going on), but found the door locked and the room empty. I know a couple housekeepers who won't work by themselves on that floor, too.

On another floor, the large meeting room known as the Gold Room is also supposed to be haunted. I've never witnessed anything there, but my co-workers have said they've seen and heard weird things there. The most I've ever gotten is a weird, "heavy" feeling when I'm in there alone. That by itself doesn't mean anything, but it is interesting.

Apparently one of the stores I work at is haunted. I came in today and the manager said the "ghost" was messing with the radio. It won't turn on even though it's plugged in. I think she's heard random footsteps, but I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's from the people who live upstairs Sooo yeah I don't think the place is haunted.

Yep my building is haunted. I talked to a few of the people who have been in the building longer than me and several have seen similar things to my blog post found here:
