Myself,my boyfriend and my friend were out last night exploring,and came across an abandoned antique shop,with a house beside it. Despite it being in a kinda remote place with no chance of getting caught or anything,it had a really foreboding atmosphere. Anyhoo,I'll post the DB link,but take a look at this picture.All I've done is lighten it a touch,but when I changed the contrast and such,it got really interesting. Do you see what we saw?

Yeah,that's what it looks like to me,too. I almost deleted it,but it rather looks like the face of a boy to me,wearing a hat and shoulder length hair.

I took the second one because I glanced at the viewfinder and thought I had a bad picture,it was pitch black in there. It wasn't til we got home when we saw this,pretty freaky.

It is just dust. The face is just the brain making it look like a face when none is actually within the photo. However, in the end, all you really have is a photo full of dust.

Whether we see a face or not is a second issue, and I agree, that sometimes people like to see faces in things. I have not seen a face in this photo. The first photo has this massive ectoplasmic like mess across it, the second (same place/POV, seconds? later) a few dust orbs/reflections or whatever you want to call them.
For the viewfinder to look black, and then see what she is showing is amazing. Can you back up your "It's just dust" comment Greg?
Saying: 'it could still just be dust' would be a better way of wording it. Unless you can give more of a description of this alleged 'dust'. I think there's something veerrrry interesting going on here.
If that is dust, then someone must have burst a fully loaded vacuum cleaner bag above when she clicked the shutter

Interesting.
If it was cold out, it could have been you breathing,
or if you were smoking, it could be cigarette smoke.
Still very interesting though.

No smoking,but yeah it was pretty cold. I did think that it was likely my breath but to me,I see the face right away,and it's even more visible when viewed as a thumbnail.

Not sure if this will help show what I'm seeing (my monitor is old and crappy but here's a closer picture. Near the top left corner I can see the brim of the hat and I can still see the face quite clearly,though maybe I'm just losing my mind.

I see a dog! And it's a weird one It's right paw is pushing in the center of the blue cloth thing. Squint a little.
I'm sure this photo was not taken through glass, otherwise that could be a very likely reason for this phenomenon.

Haha! I kinda see that too. This was taken about in the middle of one of maybe three workrooms that were connected.
A day or so after we went here,a very disturbing article appeared in the newspaper,about a pedophile from Waterdown,who had an antique shop and was about to be released from jail.
Though we'll never know,I wonder if this was the place,what with the house beside it being boarded as well. I was only able to find out that the former name of this location was The New England Antiques Warehouse.

I never said it wasn't dust, or implied that I knew what it was. I suggested it would have to be a hell of a lot of dust, appearing all of a sudden, to make a totally different photo than the next frame.
I respectfully asked you to back up your authoritative statement. Why not give it a shot, no one is looking to cut you down. (If I remember right from other threads, you were or are a teacher?, could be mixing you up with someone else though)
As enthusiastic as I am about ghosts, the logical plan is to first clearly rule out non paranormal possibilities. That has not been done on Wiccan's intriguing photo. Ghosts 1: Naysayers 0 Gotta run, coffee pots oberflowing, lol.

I don't see the face personally, but I too find it odd that one picture has this distortion and the next does not. I'm not ready to ascribe it to paranormal activity myself, nor am I ready to discount it without a good explanation. If someone has a good reason it should be discounted, please offer it.
I encourage those of both viewpoints to discuss it, but make certain you remain civil. (I believe you have been mostly civil so far, and commend you for that, but I've seen too many discussions of this sort turn sour, and I don't intend for that to happen in this forum.)

Just a thought Wiccan; maybe try sending the photos to one of these, or other sites for analysis. Or find someone who can study them.

roll of film i just developed taken over 6mnths so no idea of location, im a smoker so easily a puff of smoke,
three different friends have identified seeing three faces
one is small, just below center of pic, other two are larger and either side
can u see anything ?
i can see what they mean, but i assume its the mind creating shapes
