If you could pick songs for a soundtrack to your exploration what would they be? What songs would you choose for what location?
"Sweat saves blood, blood saves lives, and brains save both." - Field Marshal Erwin Rommel |

Emmure - Ten Signs You Should Leave. For that place with the Million Dollar Fence. If youve been there and had the FULL Experience. And youve heard the song. Youd understand..

Anything by Savage Republic
Tourism, human circulation considered as consumption is fundamentally nothing more than the leisure of going to see what has become banal. |

Mmmm...Savage Republic. You sure have good taste in music, sir! Though their sound is not one that I would most readily associate with decaying, decrepit buildings. Somehow if I were listening to actual music, music I'd need something with more loud clashing/scraping/screeching metallic sounds.

In 2004 I had a great time along with Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory? and Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow. The last time I did some UE I enjoyed Travis - The Boy With No Name. Pure sunshine!
Where do you go instead of rehab? HAPPY NATION - RECREATION! |

Alcest - Ecailles De Lune It's melancholic post-black metal / shoegaze.......already reminds me of abandoned and forgotten places, so it'd be perfect.
"Thrice happy is the nation that has a glorious history. Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." - Theodore Roosevelt |

I've made a few videos of my explorations, and I've always used Tangerine Dream as the soundtrack.
“We are not going to have the kind of cooperation we need if everyone insists on their own narrow version of reality. … the great divide in the world today … is between people who have the courage to listen and those who are convinced that they already know it all.” -Madeline Albright |

OH MY FUCKING GOD. Yes. Specially Ecailles De Lune (Part II) after the breakdown. Get's so melancholic, reminds me of forests and abandonment.
Once things get political, they want us to stop shooting and start dancing. I don't dance. |

I usually have Silent Hill 2 / 3 soundtracks playing in my iPod while I explore. Then there's this album called 'Transformalin' by 'Diagnose: Lebensgefahr'. Some pretty intense drone stuff there too.
