In 'Super-Sized Myths,' (11/14/07) the second try of the JATO Impala failed catastrophically. Did anybody else notice how clean the explosion was? Or the total lack of surprise on the part of the cast? Or the absence of even a cursory examination of the (intact) rocket engines? They probably did the math and discovered that the car would only fly a few hundred yards and drop like a brick. But ratings are everything, right? So they packed the engines only an eighth or so full and wired up an incendiary to go as soon as it reached the ramp. The car is instantly charred beyond recognition and the explosion can be blamed on an 'overpressure.'
Nov. 24, 2007--The city of Cleveland, Ohio, announces that it has developed tactical nuclear weapons, and does not wish to hear any more jokes. |

nah i dont think they would do that. we all knew it would only go a few hundred feet. they all did jump when it blew. and if they were gonna do it scotty would have been more protected than just being in a truck
wait i'm not supposed to be here? -no o ok fuck you then |

it was a waste of a beautiful Impala... this is the only time that i have changed the channel on an episode of Mythbusters. I shed a bit of a tear and went to bed.

Yeah, it was a bit sad, that would have been amazing if had made the jump.

you and Nismo should get a room and masturbate to pictures of Hondas and Toyotas all night long by the sound of it.
