I know it is long gone but i was wondering if anyone else took some pics that they would like to share. Seeing as the stairs were removed i never got a peek of the second floor. There was a set of rickety stairs in the back shed leading to the second floor of the house but i wasnt about to attempt climbing those. Did anyone more nimble or athletic than me get up there? The house had been empty for years and years so a few people must have partied in it Here is the DB entry link and if anyone has there own pics please share with us Chemong road farm house DB entry

heh! wow when i was there the stairs weren't like that.
to be honest i had a blonde moment in this house, i walked in saw there were no stairs, and instead of looking for other stairs (since in old houses theres ALWAYS other stairs) i moved a door over to where the stairs were and used the groves in the door to climb my ass up to the second floor. the second floor is really really eery. and is how i found the other set of stairs (which used to be completely stable) on the second floor in the back part (before they tore it down) though theres a hole in the floor from where i went through (no serious injuries) i was with a friend and i went hop skipping across the floor and fell into the floor. on my old old school video camera i have tapes of this place upstairs and down. on the first floor there were removable floor boards where we found clothes, and thats where my infamous quote came from, i said "what else down there clothing......is?" and my friend turns to me and says "wow, your like an illiterate yoda!" anyway the upstairs a friend (non believer) and i experienced some paranormal activity (i.e... walking down the hallway and turning into a bedroom and findng myself face to face with a tall man in overalls that disapeared when i blinked) but i'm not going to start rambling about paranormal stuff. lets just say rest in peace chemong house, and there was definately more to this house then met the eye, thats all i will say.. PS.. bah i haven't got any photos to contribute sorry!
~Robyn~ "Wow Your House Is So Derelict! I'm Surprised Robyn Hasn't Broken Into It Yet!" me: "What Else Down There Clothing Is?" friend: "Wow Robyn You're LIke An Illiterate Yoda!" (All said at Chemong Farm house--Which is sadly Torn Down:( ) |
