Hi guys, I just joined this board. I was wondering if anyone on here has done a suspension. I've been given a chance to do one in 2 weeks and I'd like to hear about any personal experiences so I might be able to get an idea of what I'm in for. Thanks!

only do it if you want terrible scars on your back of where ever you hang from.

The after care is so neat! the more time you're up for the more air under your skin. You'll feel like a sponge and make sure you have a good friend to squeeze it all out of the hook holes the next day.

Another option is that you could try a pull first. It will give you an idea of a suspension will feel but is a little less intense and easier to do!

I'm not worried about scars or anything. That's part of the experience as far as I'm concerned. And I don't mind jumping straight into a suspension instead of doing a pull first. I have some good friends who have done suspensions and pulls before and I've asked them TONS of questions about it. I was thinking about doing a suicide (hooks thru the upper back), but I got sick about a week before I was suppose to go up, and now my (douche bag) piercer has been arrested for statutory rape. I know of a few other piercers in my area who will do this sort of thing; I really just need to get in touch with them. If I ever get my feet off the ground, I promise I will post pics. Thanks for the info guys!

wow looks like your cold saved you from being suspended by a douche bag.
Russ Foxx does amazing work and suspensions. I wouldn't do it, but if i did he'd be the only person i would ever let 'put me up'.

I've suspended twice and loved it both times.
Feel free to ask me any questions about the experience.
Best advice for first time find a group in your aria that has a good amount of experience. I can personally recommend the guys at Rites of Passage they are the nicest people you will ever meet.
