I remember as a teen living in Peterborough my friends and i would follow Jacksons creek from the Otonabee river ( Little lake ) to Jacksons park We had lots of fun tracing the creek back as it travelled under Buildings and streets, looking up through sewer grates and of course avoiding the bums who drank under the bridges Has anyone else taken this trip? Would love to see some pics as well if you have any As you can see by the map the creek enters Peterborough just north of Parkhill and meanders thru the heart of town under buildings and streets and fenced off and forgotten for the most part by the folks living in town. It emerges once more near the marina and spills into the Otonabee

I've never done it personally. A few years back me and some friends kinda had a half-assed idea to take a raft down the creek while it was swollen and going pretty fast, but we were never did it because we weren't sure if there was any grating under the streets we might get caught up in.

No grating that i can recall but if the water was that high you might hit some pipes hanging down from below the
