So, the Tour's in the shit. Astana, Cofidis and Rabobank are out. Thoughts on doping? On who will win? On the future of cycling?

I get sick of people acting as if doping is this big new thing, when they've been doping since the Tour started in 1903. Just back then it was cocaine and amphetamines, not EPO and blood transfusions.

I'm looking at either Evans or Contador, although I think it's just a matter of time before Contador gets a bad test back.

If you can't beat them, arrange to have them beaten.

Personally I feel that if an adult of sound mind is willing to take chances with their health it is their own choice, within reason.
People get hurt in all sports, especially in things like the Theatrical Sports like American Football, Professional Fake Wrestling or hockey.
Should we ban sports that might cause health problems? Ever see an ex-football player try to walk without a gimp? So why ban doping?

I don’t know, if you can’t stop it should we try to live with doping. It is not going away.
Not saying it is the right thing, just a fact of life

Just saying

truly it's good that they caught the guys who doped. Sad for the team, and Rasmussen.. but what can you do.
It leaves fair advantage to riders who don't dope.

This years tour was the worst i've seen. Even worse than last years.. I don't even know who won.. Didn't watch after Rasmussen got kicked out.

I thought this year's tour sucked ass. And this whole Landis fiasco - I don't think he doped, and the way everything else is in the UCI, pffft, fuck it.
