awesome, i'm starting one too, we are going to have horns though. You like Against All Authority?

I like some of their stuff.

Horns are cool sometimes, but our band is a lil more punk than ska so we decided that the horns wouldn't really fit.

Why did the Jolly Rogers have to break up? aside from the fact that the lead singer left and the sax player was killed in an accident...

Gosh. I am in a ska band and I quite love it. However, I've got a question:

Ska seems to die out in people once they turn 18. I've noticed this at all types of ska shows. There are always the punk kids around, but the rudies...where have the rudies gone?

The general question: Is this only happening here?

And my sins are so unoriginal.

that is a very good question. I'm really not sure. Lets just try to keep some rude boys (or girls) around.

I like mostly crust and heavier punk stuff. Whoever said Judge Dread, that's the only ska band I've heard that I've actually liked. Anyone like Crass or Conflict? Two bands that I would consider classic.

Combat 84 is good, and I'm guessing you're a fan of Vice Squad as well. Chick singers in punk are the best. Do you guys like Japanese stuff?

I remember hearing balzak two years ago on a bus, and a couple months ago they were touring with misfits or something pretty cool.

Heard of them, haven't heard any of their tunes. I got a shirt signed by Marky Ramone last time "The Misfits" came to play around here, they're pretty fun live.
