First documented trip evar. Omfg.

Well since joining the cohorts of amazing photographers and urban explorers across the globe, I decided to make my first trip somewhat simple. In an abandoned tannery next to my work building in Haverhill. Couldn't help but notice a very obvious way inside and I had to snap some pictures.
So this past weekend a longtime friend of mine and I infiltrated this massive structure of 9 floors starting in the basement. Sadly I have nothing much exciting to say; we didn't get hounded by cops or were even seen for that matter...

Here's some shots of what we found there starting in the basement:

Next we proceeded up the bird-shit covered and dimly lit cement stair way to reach the vast expanse of the first few floors:

The higher we got, the more decrepit and neglected things became. We even found a few of those transformer/capacitor things you see on the top of telephone polls that someone stashed there...major biohazard. Threw on the masks for that one.
Some more random spots between floors 2 and 8.

Windows were wide open all over the place...it was bird paradise for a while.

Up towards the roof...

So it was a fun, easy trip for my first time. I have a few more in mind so I'll be posting as often as I can get my hands on his smexy, smexy camera.
