All from the same 27 slides (what is the term for sections of film?) roll of film:
1.Selfportrait
2.Local mad man. Known as "the admiral" for the hat he used to wear. To bad I didn't photograph him at the time he had it - he looked great with it!

I usually only crop photos and make no other modifications (the ones above have only crop) but to this one I made the exception of desaturating and contrasting:

And from a previous roll of film on the same camera (I was testing it so not many came out ok):

Some roma kids playing under the watchful eyes of their mother (i guess... I took the photo through the bars of a gate and didn't have time to observe them).
There's a contest now in Romania about the roma minorities, their culture and traditions with first prize of 1,200$ so maybe you'll see some more photos of these people from me. Wish me luck and because I'm just starting photography I'll accept any references to pictures or articles for inspiration.

Over all, a really nice set.
1, 2, 4, 7 and 11 are good. 2, 4 and 11 are exceptional. You should try to publish 11.
And you should keep taking photographs and posting them here.

Thank you for the congrats. If the judges in that contest I was writing about will be anything like that I might even stand a chance... unfortunately they're all romanian photographers so yeah... they will look at my photos under the microscope before burning them and lynching me for desecrating the holy name of photography.:\

Here are 3 from my first rolls of film on my Zenit:
I hope to get my hands on a brand new digi cam to start experimenting with lightpainting in drains after wich I'll probably be back to film. Until than this is all from me (I think... maybe this weekend I'll get my friend's cam again and a roll of film...).

I hate this piece of junk Zenit. There where allot more beautiful conceptual photographs but the camera ruined them with chromatic aberrations. Anyway, I want to see more photos from others as well. What are you digital people doing?
Whatchacallems (I hopped a fence in the local zoo and the best I could get are these what cha call em:\):
More of gypsy kids (i doubt I'll go on with that project on these people - their nomad culture and traditions are dead and instead they represent a very poor and tourmented part of society - it's sad really these people got domesticated like this):
