Meh.
So in this episode, they are shown trying to break into a secure mocked-up building. Stage one was to climb the air vents, with Jamie trying the old magnet technique and Adam opting for suction cups. Neither of them could pull it off, so they declared it busted.
However - am I the only one who watched this and thought - those vents are the perfect size to chimney? With the right shoes, it wouldn't have been hard (well... maybe for some of you - I'm not in chimney-ing shape these days.. damn you, Jalapeno Poppers!)
Later, they are shown trying to cut into a glass window - there is a sensor in the room they are trying to enter that will detect broken glass. At one point, they try to cut the glass with a cutter, then remove the circle with a suction cup. It doesn't work, and again they declare it 'busted'.
And again - am I the only one who noticed that Adam's suction cup was much bigger than the glass circle that he'd cut in the glass? You need a suction cup that fits within the circumference of the cut glass; otherwise it won't work.
And finally - Kari in pigtails. Good times.

I'd like to see this episode. Any idea what the episode number was?
If they wanted to test the hole in the glass myth they really should have called in professional from a glass shop. It CAN be done but not easily even with the window deglazed. 99 times out of 100 it would be easier to deglaze the window rather than cutting which would also not trip the break sensor. I have a feeling the discovery producers were a little concerned about making a how-to be a burglar episode so they probably didn't approach it with the usual scientific attitude.

oh yeah.
i definitely agree, the episode wasn't as well done as i would've liked, but it's nice to know that adam won't be trying to take my family jewels.

Many time, they didnt take the time to ask to professional . I mean, they are not stupid , but nobody can know evrything !
