I have always loved the song "one" by metallica, so I got the quadruple amputee of the cover of the video on my right side.

all 3 of my tattoos have some sort of significance. My right shin piece is a celtic protection knot with a pretty unique border of tribal-esque points/rays radiating around it... and the idea behind that one is pretty obvious. My half sleeve is of the ancient story of the kraken, and it is the moment where the kraken(giant octopus in my rendition of it) is tearing through the sails and taking ahold of the ship to pull it into the depths of the sea. but in that exact snapshot of the scene, its hard to tell if the ship will overcome, or succumb to the beast. which is a lot like many struggles in life, and I wanted to depict that there are always moments when things could either look up, or go way down hill if the wrong move is made. and the most recent tattoo i got is on my left calf is the painting "The Ancient Of Days" by William Blake, one of my favorite artists. I believe in everything he was trying to convey in his artwork, and this piece I have looked at and studied since I started to discover myself as an artist. Just look him up and this piece in wikipedia if interested in more info about him... and all of my tattoos are not flash, or from flash, as I am against that. I like the uniqueness aspect of tattooing, so who's to say that, that butterfly on the wall of that tattoo parlor hasn't been tattooed on someone else's lower back before??

I'm coming down fast, but I'm miles above you.
things about me that are either significant, or that I really like that will carry meaning. I can say that drawing your own tattoos really sucks, because you either notice every flaw in the drawing, or you spend 70 hours slaving over one drawing like I did.

both of mine were whims. With the star, I had just turned 18 and wanted a tat. With the skeleton, I like Social D, and I liked the logo. I went to talk to my guy, and he told me he could do it right then, so I went for it.

one for balance in my life another to remember a friend who was murdered and one to mark the end of a short but heavy addiction to cocaine and speed which i fought and won and vowed never to revisit

i'm a plumber... if you can't figure it out, it plays off the whole "plumber's crack" thing! (2nd place for most original black and white)
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn!
I have got two tats right now. One on my shoulder is a tribal triangle with a crying monkey's face inside. It represents the death of mans primal side. and I have a Damascus styled chef knife with a flaming handle on the inside of my left forearm. I drew that one myself and had a Manga artist friend of mine go over it again in color. It visualizes my personal credo "We give our lives to Fire and Knives."

I've always had a connection to dragons. I have no idea why though. My first is a three inch by two inch dragon on my ankle. The one I want next is an 8 by 6 inch tribal dragon on my back. After that, I probably won't get any more because all the spots I can actually cover with clothing without people seeing them will be full. Mostly that's because of one of the side activities I do at work. As a union trustee, I'm expected to act as a union steward on occasion and deal with people at the regional level through the union. So, looking presentable is a must and tattoos, even though where I work has no policy against them, don't help with that. People just don't trust a union steward with tattoo sleeves and a jewelry box of piercings on his/her face.
