Super 8 processing

I just found a local shop that still stock quite a bit of Super 8, so I think its time to get my camera up and going again.

However I was wondering where I could get super 8 processed, the guy at the shop had no idea.

Anything in the Chicago area? Or do I have to mail this out?

Thanks in advance.

What kind of super 8? If you're gonna use Kodachrome, which is discontinued but still available 'til supplies run out, you have two options:

1) use your processing-included mailer and send it to the nearest lab listed on the envelope, they'll send it to Switzerland and it'll be about six weeks before you get it back.

2) send it to Dwayn'es Photo in Kansas, they'll process it for $9 US a roll. www.dwaynesphoto.com or www.k-14movies.com

If it's any other stock, you have a whack of options.

Apparantly you lucky Americans can still take your super 8 to Walmart for processing, but again, they send it out, and if it's Kodachrome K40, they send it to Dwayne's anyway.

hope that helps some.
