Infiltration

2:00 Saturday morning, I was woken by stomach pains and nausea. Some fresh air and a glass of water made me feel a little better, so I went back to sleep. I felt fine after waking up later.

3:30 Monday afternoon, the unpleasant stomach pains came back, as I sat in my office doing paperwork. I tried to ignore the pain, but it got worse and worse. The drive home an hour later was bordering on difficult. Once home, the pain became unbearable - it was like I got kicked in the stomach, over and over again.

6:30 Monday evening, I got a neighbor to drive me to the emergency room (UVA hospital). Talk about a joke, I stood in line for fucking ever, then sat in the waiting room for four more hours. In the beginning, the pain was horrible, it hurt to speak or even breathe.

10:30 Monday night, I got sick of waiting for a doctor, so I went home. My stomach was feeling better... better enough to walk home at least.

I have no idea what's wrong with me... I just hope it doesn't come back again.
