Went in 3 drains and explored the crawl space

Today me and "John" went down to Stonewall Drain. On the way there, we saw a fire hidrent burst. You can guess what happened to the drain: very deep, very fast muddy water. We were lucky though, and after a few minutes the water was shut off and the level went down.

Then we went down to UVA to check out the crawlspace, this time with flashlights. It was very difficult to get in. There were constantly students going by. In the end, "John" went in first (as he's smaller), hoping that the students wouldn't see him, then I pretended to drop something in there and fell in. Once there, we had to wait some more to bring up the courage to crouch up to the opening at the back. It was definately an entrance to some sort of tunnel, but it was too far down to get to without a ladder or some rope. I think this is a pretty good candidate for the steam tunnel entrance I've been looking for.

After that, we went to Triplex (for the first time), then down to Emmet St. Drain, then back home.
