| First, I like anything that has not been occupied or used for an extended amount of time. i have been known to pull to the side of the road to examine old roadbeds, abandoned buildings such as stores, motels, farmhouses, and closed off bridges. People that ride anywhere with me hate this! Often I just go back later by myself b/c nobody else seems to hold the same interest in grown over areas that I do.
I have been recently taking pictures with my Dad's digital camera, but my stuff does not even compare to the images displayed on this site. My pictures are not very artful, but they do show some interesting stuff. My abandoned motel pictures turned out OK. One day I'm going to get them posted if I get the time.

I love trying to track old railbeds as I drive -- looking for the grades and telegraph poles especially. I don't pull over for everything, but that's usually because I'm in a hurry to get somewhere.
So you've come to the right place. Feel welcomed. No one here will think you're weird if you want to look at a road that's been reclaimed by nature. We might even show you a few you may have missed.

It's not about how good the picture is, it's about what the picture means to you. When I take pictures, I document history for myself. Whether or not others like or dislike them is not my problem. Keep up the good work.
